Who makes Leÿer Furniture? 

Leÿer furniture is designed and handmade by Damo & Bec Leijer, in our workshop in Torquay Victoria. We come up with all the ideas, source the materials, test our designs and build all our furniture by hand, occasionally using the help of some part-time tradies during busier periods. Damo is a carpenter by trade with over 12 years experience and is a true perfectionist when it comes to building each piece of furniture, rest assured nothing leaves our workshop that is less than 110% perfect in his eyes. 

Can I request a custom piece not featured on your website?

We would love to custom design something special for your home, but please note we cannot copy another designers design! Within our launch range you can customise the size you require for your home and some of our pieces come in different styles such as square or round. We have lots of ideas and future ranges in the pipeline, so if you email us your request we can certainly discuss some options for you and provide timelines & pricing. 

How long will my Leÿer furniture piece take to be finished?

As all our furniture is custom made, we require  between 4 -6 weeks depending on the time of year and the type of piece ordered. Once you place your order, we can advise more exact delivery times. We will do our best to have your item delivered with the specified timeframe, however on occasion delays may occur. Leÿer furniture design will not be liable for any damages as a result of this delay as this delay would not be in breach of contract.

Similarly, if you would like to know expected delivery time prior to placing your order, please feel free to drop us an email and we can get back to you with an estimate. If you require a furniture item more urgently for any particular reason we will do our best to help out, just let us know your request and we can respond quickly. 

How much payment is required upfront?

For standard pieces as listed on our website 100% payment upfront is required. For any custom orders over $1000 we are happy to receive 50% payment upfront to commence the order and the balance on completion prior to delivery. Please discuss this with us prior to purchase as our checkout system will look for 100% payment.

We are excited to also offer Layby through Paypal which gives you the opportunity to pay for your item in smaller instalments.

What if i am not happy with my furniture when it arrives?

Your happiness is very important to us so please contact us either by phone or email with your feedback as soon as you receive your item and we will work with you to come to a resolution as quickly as we can.

Do you offer wholesale?

Yes we offer both wholesale and trade so please get in touch with bec@leyer.com.au to discuss becoming a stockist or opening a trade account with us.

Can i come and have a look at your furniture in person?

It is our dream to one day open a show room however in the meantime, you are welcome to pop by our workshop to have a look at some of our current pieces and future range designs. Please let us know by email if you would like to arrange a visit. We dont have any stockists as yet, we sell directly online.
